Hello all, just so you know (not sure how much you will all care – but just in case you think that I have gone silent ) from the 19th of September 2007 until the 3rd October 2007 I will be away on a long earned and eagerly awaited Holiday. Although this year is not finished yet, it has already been one heck of a year for me and my family – where we lost my Dad in May to Cancer, and since I returned to work from helping my Mum nurse him it has been mad with just about everything that could go wrong has!

By the evening of the 19th I plan to be sitting in my favorite eating house on the fabulous Greek island of Rhodes drinking copious amounts of “Methos” (the local beer) and adding a good few inches to my already expanding waste-line.

By the morning I plan to be sitting by the pool, in the afternoon taking in some of the sights and then by evening watching a sunset like this (taken last year):

I am sooooo looking forward to the break, but I will be trying to get a couple of posts up on the site before I go away (these will probably be small little things that I have been saving for a while that might help some of you).

If anyone is in the Pefkos region of Rhodes around the same time, you will find me in the Oasis bar or by the pool of the Matina apartments – chillin out – the following is a shot from 2AM last year – the blue dolphin is mine!;

All of you have been great, and very cool online buddies – you have inspired me to try to be the best I can be, and the support that you all have provided has been brilliant.

I would also like to thank the 11,000 people that visited me on Blog Spot and the 6,500 people that have popped over to read my ramblings here at WordPress – the Exchange community is a wonderful place and something that all of us should be proud of.

Whilst I am away I will probably have a think about some of the things that I wish to post for the rest of the year (and some stuff for next year) – plus I am also considering a change to the way in which stuff is posted here, but before I reveal more detail I need to speak to some people – watch this space.
